Hello! My name is Mrs. Rondeau. There are many exciting plans that I have for our classroom community which include you, the parents and guardians. I am so glad you are joining us on our Kindergarten journey.
I have been working with children for over 10 years now. I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade here at SJCA. Before that I worked with young children in a preschool setting as a teacher and an administrator.
My goals for the students this year are for them to bond as a community, grow as learners, and learn how to be great citizens in their school and community. For some of your children this is their first school experience and chance for them to gain a love for knowledge. In Kindergarten we do this not only through academic rigor but play and exploration.
A little history. I grew up in Kenosha and have lived here my whole life. I attended St. Mary Catholic School through 6th grade and then continued on in the Kenosha Public Schools. I earned my undergraduate, my teaching license, and a Masters in Education Instructional Technology through Cardinal Stritch University.
